How to be glad it's NOT over

How to be glad the Sabbath is NOT YET over!
An ongoing list by the blogger; comments very welcomed

ONE

Join a committee at church, sit on the board or SERVE in some ministry on the Sabbath: you'll be surprised HOW LITTLE TIME there is for the work of God during the week. Soon there'll be lots to do on Sabbath and no reason to be bored!

TWO

RESERVE all your daily Sabbath School Study Guide lessons till Friday night, and do them ALL AT ONCE -- meticulously. You may end up going to bed at 1 in the morning when you're done.

THREE

WRITE a tract. Do it slowly and prayerfully, with many drafts. Then THINK about how you're gonna get it printed during the week, and how to distribute them among the masses.

FOUR

Are you a homemaker? Or do you have a talent in cooking? Before the sun goes down Friday night, WHIP UP a sophisticated dish for the 50 people at church, ready for REHEATING the following day. Alternatively, put together something SIMPLE early Saturday morning, e.g. a big cake from the fridge, stir-fried veggies or cut fruit. PS

....to be continued...

(This message written from personal experience. Tried and tested. For the practical Sabbathkeeper who does not define 'WORK' or 'no WORK' in the physics sense of the word!)
